Our March Release is Almost Here!

Wow! February is almost over. The mythical Punxsutawney Phil has seen his shadow, and much of the US is experiencing some extra winter, but Spring is right around the corner, and with it new software releases!! Salesforce, of course, has their Spring 14 release, with some very exciting new features across all of their products, and we here at Arrowpointe have some exciting new things for our users as well.

Feature Preview

At the top of our list is our full Salesforce1 App. When we saw Salesforce1 at Dreamforce, we knew we wanted to get on board. In December we did a proof of concept with Geopointe Check-Ins, and now we are ready to roll out full Geopointe Mobile functionality in Salesforce1. Early previews look pretty awesome, and we are very excited to get this into the hands of our customers.

Next, we have some updates to our filters for Data Sets. More flexibility, a better user interface and more powerful queries are the name of the game here. Most notable is the ability to create Cross Filters on child objects using ‘without’ as the operator. This opens the door for some extremely useful and powerful new ways to visualize your Salesforce data in Geopointe. We will be writing some posts soon to demonstrate the power of without.

Next, our routing user interface has gotten an upgrade, and gotten much more streamlined. It’s slimmer profile will make the routing experience on the desktop much easier. Last, but not least we have added a global Change Owner List Action. This is going to empower Admins and Managers to mange record ownership based on a geographic search, and re-assign records right from the map.

All in all, its going to be a very exciting release. We will be providing more detail throughout the week. Here is the release schedule:
